Although Broich House is only a 15 minute walk from the village of Kippen which has two gastropubs, a grocery store, a delicatessen and two farm shops, Broich has so much more to offer. We can arrange a day up the hill with clay pigeon shooting and lunch with spectacular views from 'The Bothy', cycling through forest tracks, sightseeing, beautiful lochside walks and don’t forget this is Scotland, the home of whisky and golf.

Golf
With 18 hole courses at Aberfoyle, St Fillans, Killin, Stirling, Bridge of Allan, Alva, Alloa and Dollar there's plenty of destinations within a short drive for golfers. Gleneagles the luxury hotel, spa and golfing destination famous throughout the world is only a short drive away.
Shooting
We can offer a tailored day's clay pigeon shooting up on the hill behind Broich House. An exciting drive up the hair-pin bends to the moor in 4x4s and a competitive morning's clay pigeon shooting is followed up by a feast in 'the bothy' with stunning views across the Trossachs.
History
Within a 15 minute drive of Broich is one of Scotland's grandest castles. Stirling Castle's history goes back to William Wallace's victory over the English in 1297. Also on your doorstep are The National Wallace Monument and some of Scotland's famous battle sites.
Walking
Whether you're simply wanting to stretch your legs around Broich's gardens and parkland or you fancy climbing 879 metres up Ben Ledi, you'll be spoilt for choice! The Trossachs are a playground on your doorstep.
CYCLING
Stirling's Active Travel Hub outlines 16 local cycle routes. Country roads surrounding Kippen lead to wonderful destinations like The Lake of Menteith, Loch Venachar and the Duke's Pass. You can hire bikes from Wheels Cycling Centre and they'll deliver them to Broich.
Places to Eat
The Cross Keys and the Inn at Kippen are two family-friendly, dog-friendly gastropubs with delicious food and a warm reception within a 15 minute walk of Broich House. For those preferring coffee cake over cask beer there's also the RhubarbLime Coffee Shop.
Farm Shops
The Woodhouse Farm Shop (1.8 miles) thewoodhousekippen.co.uk and the bountiful Blair Drummond Smiddy Farm Shop (6.6 miles) have restaurants, butchers, fresh vegetables, delicatessen counters and gift shops.
Family Activities
Pay a visit to the cheeky monkeys! From lions to sea lions, there's 160 acres of adventure to be had at Scotland's famous Blair Drummond Safari Park and it's only a 10 minute drive from Broich House.
WHISKY TASTING
After a long day in the fresh air you can come home to enjoy a dram by the crackling log fire. Tastings can be organised in advance and are tailored to your preferences.
